We’re creating a magical Jack Frost-inspired soap using a choice of design techniques. Picture frosty blues, silvery swirls, a touch of shimmering sparkle, and delicate snowflakes tucked into the tops of your soaps. ✨
You’ll learn how to work with colour, movement and trace to create a beautiful, layered design, while also learning techniques for creating different swirls of colour in your soap.
Each participant will:• Combine all the raw ingredients and create their soap from scratch
• Learn different design techniques to create intricate colour movement
• Add silver shimmer and frosty snowflake decorations to complete the design
• Choose from beautiful winter inspired colours and fragrances
• Take home over 2 lbs of handmade soap — approximately 14 bars!
• Receive a detailed handout with recipes, techniques, information and instructions from the class
🌿 Scent Options: Students will add scent using skin-safe phthalate free fragrance oils provided. Those who prefer to work with essential oils are welcome to bring their own to use during the workshop.
Important Notes:
• Bring an old towel (to wrap and insulate your soap)
• Bring a bag to carry your soap home
• Wear long pants and closed toe shoes (required for safety)
• Participants must be 18+
•This specialty workshop is designed for soapmakers who have taken Soapmaking 101 (or already have cold process experience) and want to level up their design skills •

With nearly 15 years of soapmaking experience and almost 10 years of teaching, Linda Boyle of Serenity Soaps brings a wealth of knowledge to every workshop. You’ll learn the why behind soapmaking, along with the techniques, tips, and safety practices that come from years of hands-on experience.
Best of all, you’ll make your own soap from start to finish in your own dedicated workstation, using your own equipment and supplies. No shared tools—just a fun, relaxed, hands-on experience with plenty of personal guidance along the way.
